We're developing a new strategy which aims to tell you how we intend to improve how we listen and work with our tenants and leaseholders.
The council is writing a new Tenant Engagement Strategy with the help of your Tenant and Leaseholder Panel but we also need to know what is important to you and how we can help you to engage more with us as your landlord.
Strategic priorities
The panel have suggested what they think should be the priorities for the new Strategy but are they right? This is your chance to also have your say and to make suggestions on what you think needs to be changed or included.
These are the 4 aims suggested by the Tenant and Leaseholder Panel:
Provide our customers with more opportunities and ways to communicate and engage with us
improve engagement with customers and the wider community about how we will ensure that you live in safe, good quality homes in well managed areas
Be open and honest with our customers about how we are performing and share information to enable you to judge for yourselves
Ensure our customers have the opportunity and the training to enable you to scrutinise our services and shape them for the future
Write to: Tenant Liaison Officer, Council Offices, London Road, Safron Walden CB11 4ER
After you've responded
The results will be presented to the Tenant and Leaseholder Panel later this year.
